Goals
Organize and perform solidarity campaigns, aimed to collect all kind of inputs, to benefit children with special needs, senior citizens and families in situation of poverty and abandonment.
Design and develop social cultural programs and events to enhance the artistic talent of the youth, both at a local and abroad level (extensive to the Afro-Colombian community). Our ultimate goal is to nourish the love for their roots and reinforce the legacy of their history and cultural background.
Mission
Racuyfo Foundation US is a non-profit organization that not only focuses on promoting cultural roots and diversity, but also on providing humanitarian help to people with limited financial resources; the elderly, and children with special needs. Also, the foundation invests a great effort to educate the community members, and raise awareness, in consequence, of the risk of most prevalent diseases and how to prevent them.
Vision
Racuyfo Foundation US will become a self-sustained leading organization, able to stand out over other non-profit organizations, because of the valued work and commitment of its members and volunteers. Our members’ focal point lays on projects that are, and will always be, able to generate a positive impact in our most vulnerable communities (locally and abroad).

“100 Colombians” is a project whose purpose is identify and pay tribute to those Colombians who have achieved success far from their country. Each year, 100 stories are selected to bring out the powerful human capital that Colombia has always offered to the World. This is just a sample of the great talent, creativity and perseverance of Colombians, who has always stood out on the international scene. This project pursues to show the best image of Colombia, giving hope and setting a good model to be followed by Colombians in Colombia. Strengthening the link between the country’s diaspora and its civil society the ultimate goals of this project.
“100 Colombians” exists to make visible the capacity, talent and power of excellence of Colombian people. It is a tribute to all those prepared, effective and creative people who excel abroad and live in a host country to work and add value to its society.
Every year, a designated team collects hundreds of successful stories among all Colombians living outside their homeland. A “Selection Committee” , made up of national personalities, will choose the top 100 stories that year after year are awarded with a well-deserved recognition.
